Whereas, The present immigration laws and policies will result in: overpopulation, environmental deterioration, increased income inequity, lower wage rates, increased crime, and inter-ethnic conflict; therefore be it
Resolved, That the sense of the Convention is that substantial revision of immigration laws be required, such as:
(1) An overall immigration limit per annum of not more than 300,000 from all sources
(2) A family reunification be limited to spouses and underage children
(3) Automatic citizenship of persons born in the U.S. be limited to children of (a) citizens, and (b) legal immigrants
(4) Illegal immigration be controlled by enforcing existing mandatory job eligibility
(5) Federal funds be denied any community which prohibits its police from assisting the Immigration & Naturalization Service
(6) Prohibit further amnesty grants to illegal aliens, and
(7) Other action to maintain the integrity of our borders.
