 Third Parties
this is a Call to Unite
Coalitions work,
and so do Affiliates
To All members and friends of the American Reform Party:
Up till now, we have been working toward Party growth through mostly conventional
means --- active solicitation of new Members via our e-mail Forums, personal
contacts, and association with political activist groups during the past
election campaigning period; also, we have had encouraging --- but limited
--- success assisting two new State Party Organizations [ Texas and New York
] get started. These methods of achieving Party growth, while gratifying
on a personal level, are not very successful on a national scale. We need
to move forward much more quickly if we are ever going to realize any of
our Platform goals, both as a political Party and as a political reformist
group.
Lately, on this "Issues" forum, we are recently seeing an encouraging response
to the age-old method of political activism, "Coalition". Through the persistent
efforts of Anthony Partin, marchoganton@hotmail.com
We have seen a continuing thread response that shows little sign of abating.
With that idea in mind, we have decided to begin formal proceedings in this
direction. A Special Committee, with it's own Chair and membership, will
be appointed by the Chair of the National Committee (Roy Downing), to continue
and to accelerate the involvement of the American Reform Party with the many
other organizations already active in this pursuit. The National Chair hereby
names Anthony Partin to be chair pro-tem of this Special Committee. This
Special Committee will immediately implement development of "talking points"
and protocol procedures for this endeavor, and present them to the National
Chair for "advice and consent". Potential committee member volunteers are
hereby requested to present themselves to the National Chair, with a copy
of their application e-mail forwarded to Anton.cwith@gmail.com.
Please send these volunteer applications directly, NOT through the "Issues"
forum; we do not wish to bog down the "Issues" forum, OR the general membership,
with the inevitable minutiae generated in such typical activities.
Formalized presentations of progress reports will be made to the General
Membership from time to time.
Yours in reform,
David Repko
AMERICAN REFORM PARTY - Changing Our Present for the
Future
If we are ever successful
in this
effort, our philosophy will then be "populist" thereby, and more
representative of the Democratic Republic we profess ourselves to be a
government,
"OF the People, BY the People,
and FOR the People."
