The Obama White House has been telling the news media that they felt emboldened by their victory on healthcare legislation. Let's be clear.

Obama should feel good about winning.

He made the decision to run over two-thirds of the American people and he got away with it.

If you were a left-wing President representing values of the secular-socialist elite, wouldn't you feel pretty confident if you had done that?

Now that the biggest increase in government power and spending since Lyndon Johnson in 1965 has been passed, the left is going to be even more aggressive.

Expect the left to try and pass other items from their wish list of new laws and programs that would grant Washington more control over our lives: more spending, higher taxes (like a Value Added Tax), a big energy tax, and a new push to eliminate the secret ballot in union organizing so union bosses can coerce people into joining.

Henry Waxman Demands We All Say 2+2=5 by American Reform Party posted on Wednesday, March 31, 2010

Expect the left to be vicious in their attempts to hide the destructive effects of Obamacare.

We've already seen a preview of their behavior thanks to Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.).

Recently a number of large companies have announced (as they are required to by law) that they are reducing projected profits because Obamacare will raise their costs so dramatically. Caterpillar announced the new law will cost them $100 million. AT&T announced that Obamacare was going to cost them over $1 billion.

It was especially embarrassing for President Obama to have his visit to Iowa marked by John Deere announcing that they were going to have to take a $150 million write down of their profits to pay for Obamacare.

Henry Waxman and his fellow leftwing Democrats were outraged by this embarrassment.

How dare they tell the truth?

Don't they know the party line is that Obamacare is wonderful, cost free, and will lower costs?

So Waxman is demanding that the CEOs of these companies come to Washington to testify as to how they came by these numbers. They are also demanding that the companies produce for lawmakers detailed internal documents about their healthcare spending.

The message to every other company is clear: fall in line or risk being summoned as well.

Albert Camus, the French novelist and philosopher, would have understood Congressman Waxman's behavior. Camus wrote (in the novel The Plague) "Again and again there comes a time in history when the man who dares to say that two and two make four is punished with death."

This attack by Waxman has a little of the Stalinist or Maoist show trial spirit attached to it.

If Waxman does follow through with his demand for a hearing it would be nice if every witness came equipped with a copy of Camus' The Plague. Highlighting the dishonesty and bullying of the machine may further educate the country into how sick our system is getting and how much it needs to be changed.

Henry Waxman (D) Proof of incompetent government by American Reform Party posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2010

Henry Waxman (D) California, 30th District and so-called blue dog Democrat, champions for government fiscal responsibility, shows the American people his and other members of his parties complete and total inexperience in running government let alone approving legislation affecting the finances or healthcare of the country.

After several major public corporations, in reviewing the new healthcare laws effect on their company and shareholder profits, discovered that the new law will cost them in excess of $1 BILLION dollars each or at present $14 Billion dollars for the 10 companies reporting to date. These corporations, as required by law, made this information public to their respective shareholders basically stating that the law has taken away the corporate Healthcare Insurance tax break and could further impact the retirement plans and current healthcare policies with less coverage.

Well needless to say Henry Waxman showed his incompetence and disregard for law by issuing a demand that the corporations produce and turn over all financial information, including all documents, correspondence and emails between company officers pertaining to the issue of healthcare and their findings or face subpoena to appear before Congress.

If Waxman had taken the time to read the bill before he voted to pass it. Had he any experience in running a business or how basic accounting works. If he understood that, publicly reporting companies are obligated by SEC law to report to its shareholders substantial financial impacts to their profitability caused by changes in government law. And if Waxman had any common sense he could figure this out for himself. The Health Care law is going to cost everyone more money. Not just in premium increases but through loss of profits, revenues or business supplied benefits. When will idiots like Waxman ever learn to anticipate the ramifications of their actions?

Politicians like Henry Waxman are dangerous to both our Country and our Constitution. He represents the typical irresponsible, incompetent and untrustworthy politician that we have in office today. They refuse to do their job judiciously and pass legislation for the sake of proving their worth to the people. The laws, good of the people and the Constitution go out the window for them when it comes to their re-election.

Obama’s Health Care Bill (law) Backfires by American Reform Party posted on Monday, March 29, 2010

It was only a matter of time before the recently passed law for Health Care Reform would show the Obama Administrations complete incompetence and distorted claims and truths over the savings, tax benefits and budget deficit neutrality. We just didn't think it would happen this fast.

Today approximately 12 major public companies have prepared shareholder statements and press releases, as required by law, declaring that the Health Care Law has a direct affect on their company's earnings due to loss of tax deductions and mandated employee retirement benefits. The total amount of loss between the likes of Verizon, AT&T, 3M and others according to their press releases total more than $14 BILLION dollars in lost Profits. They also warn there may be further losses as a direct results of the passage of the bill into law.

This is typical government irresponsibility and shows the complete lack of business and economic experience by the Obama Administration and legislators who voted for this bill. A one-sided law crated by a single party without partisanship and without a solid majority. We have repeatedly stated that this bill and the CBO numbers were inaccurate and the ultimate result of the bills passage would result in higher insurance premiums. To make things worse. Obama has warned this is only the first step or beginning of his plans for overhauling the our Health Care. These are the very same words echoed by many other famous leaders in history like Hitler, Stalin and Karl Marx. The next step is for total and complete control by government of your Health & Life. It is necessary in order to carry out Obama's plan to socialize this country.

Obama must be REPLACED! This law MUST be REPEALED! Our government and political system must be REFORMED  to reverse and prevent the further erosion of our Constitution and freedoms. Then, once we have solidified our political, economic and financial stability, we can consider social programs or solutions to Healthcare and environmental issues.

Time has come to Overthrow Government by American Reform Party posted on Friday, March 26, 2010

Our safety and our liberty depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution.” ~ President Abraham Lincoln

President Lincoln clearly understood the purpose and meaning of our Constitution. Our constitution is the very underpinnings of our culture, way of life and the embodiment of our unalienable rights to Life, liberty and the pursuit of Property and Happiness.

Lincoln, as did the Framers of the constitution, both foresaw and warned against the potential dangers and time, when people lost sight of their basic unalienable rights and the power they hold over government, when government could overreach and exceed its designed purpose and authority under the constitution. Not only did they predict this potential danger but provided a solution and steps, in which to follow, for reigning in the power of government; including the outright abolishment of government and/or the Constitution by the people by revolution. The latter, although an action of last resort, is self-evident in the Declaration Of Independence.  After all, it is the Peoples country NOT governments.

It's absolutely astonishing as to the amount of wisdom and foresight our founders possessed and clearly laid out  for us, all within fewer than thirty-two pages, a simple body of laws and individual rights called the Constitution of the United States of America. Abraham Lincoln, also recognized their greatness and fully understood the meaning of revolt or revolution within the confines of the Constitution. He made this abundantly clear when he stated in his above quote. "The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution.” We challenge you to name just one modern day president since Lincoln who so eloquently reinforced and defended the basic meaning and rights of the people under our constitution.

Over the past seventy years, from Franklin D Roosevelt to Jimmy Carter and now Obama, our presidents, elected officials and courts have continually distorted and eroded the basic freedoms and unalienable rights of the people by completely ignoring the Constitution, in furthering their personal political agendas. Interestingly enough, everyone of the democratic presidents had a personal agenda to pass some sort of Heath care reform or entitlement program for furthering socialist / Fascist principles which eroded our liberties, violated the Constitution and granted government greater control and power over the people.

This is most evident and glaringly obvious in the most recent ramrod-ding through Congress of a Constitutionally illegal Health Care reform bill over a majority objection of the people. It didn't matter to the lawmakers what was in the bill didn't meet or satisfy the wishes and concerns of their constituents, or that it may bankrupt the country and, in doing so, jeopardize our safety and national security nor did they bother to check the objections being raised as to the bills constitutionality. Instead our leaders of the House, Senate and our President, conspired behind closed doors, to bribe fellow lawmakers in order to garner necessary votes as they manoeuvred to find a method on which to pass a bill, Americans did NOT want, on less than a 2/3 majority. All that mattered was passing a bill that would give the President and fellow party member a victory and chance of re-election. Now that's blatant abuse and perversion of our Constitution and RIGHTS!

Yes, it was primarily the Democrats who perverted the Constitution but this practice is not exclusive to Democrats. Republicans are equally responsible either bills of their own or those of Democrats which they supported. Socialist Entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare subsidies and other similar handout programs are nothing more the Ponzi schemes run buy the government and which are illegal.

Time has come to put an end to this form of irresponsible government we created. Time to return to basic fundamental principles. Time to stop the corruption. Time to reform the political and legislative process. Time to impose Term Limits. Time to enforce Balanced Budgets and spending on government. Time to abolish the IRS tax code for a single Flat or Fair Tax putting more money back in the hands of Families & business. Time has come to "Overthrow all the men we elected who would and have perverted the Constitution". THE TIME IS NOW! Our and that of our Children's freedoms and future are at stake.
