We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Excerpt from the preamble to the Declaration Of Independence. Hopefully, our government we do what the people ask and demand and it never needs to once again come to this act and declaration again.

Scott Brown Win Deals Blow to Obama and Health Care Bill

The Independent voters of Massachusetts delivered President Obama, Democrats and the Healthcare Reform Bill a crushing blow yesterday by electing (R) Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the death of (D) Sen. Teddy Kennedy late last year.

The independent voters, in electing Scott Brown, further sent notice to Obama and the progressives in Washington a loud and clear message that the people are no longer going to tolerate governments abuse of its powers and control over the American people. The overriding issue in the senate race may have been Healthcare but, the message went deeper. Independent's want to see fundamental change in DC with limited government control, fiscal responsibility, National debt reduction, focus on the economy and new employment, elimination of back room deals and concessions for votes, lower taxes and true transparency and honesty in their elected officials.

Independent voters have laid down the gauntlet with their mandate for our elected officials to either tow the line, listen to and do what the people want or you are OUT of office regardless of your party affiliation.

Its also noteworthy, that this election stood for more than just another race between a Democrat and Republican candidate but, the coming of age and strength of the Independent voter. Sixty-one percent of the voters registered in Massachusetts yesterday where Independents, which is a growing trend throughout the states today. No longer are Independents a minority amongst the two parties but a major force that Republicans nor Democrats can any longer rely on to put them over the top in an election. The Independent now has the ability to seek out third and fourth party candidates who more closely represent their views of moderation, common sense and honesty and elect this candidate over that of the other two parties.

There was no splitting of the vote for either Republicans or Democrats to point as their downfall or gain. This was an honest to goodness Independent vote that elected Scott Brown. This election, should the people recognize their achievement and strength, will serve to reshape the political landscape, the inadequate two party system and the face of America.

A Call for Action & Reclamation

No longer are the interest, objectives and agenda of our elected officials the same as those of the People, regardless of their party, or once they take office

Time has come for all Americans to stand up, put their foot down, exorcise their rights under the constitution and take action to quickly and responsibly take back the control and power we have bestowed upon our out of control government and lawmakers.

For the past seventy years, we trusted the lawmakers we elected to protect our Country its Constitution and our unalienable rights, liberties and freedoms granted by our Creator and as further enumerated in the Constitution by our Founders. We trusted that they would put the interest and rights of the People far and above those of their own objectives and goals. However, they have habitually violated our trust by diluting the meaning of our Constitution as they continually create policies and legislation to suit their own political agenda, ideological goals and elitist views as to what is best for the “Good of the People.” Throughout this period we witnessed our lawmakers erode every basic right, liberty and freedom we share in this Country while accumulating greater control and power over the People through poor policies, excessive taxation, financial irresponsibility, economically unsubstantiated spending and socialistic entitlement programs or welfare. They are leading us down the path of a Socialistic Welfare State with the ultimate result of having us subject to a New World Order. This is a dangerous agenda that can only put America under the control and dictatorship of the United Nations.

In the past twenty years the corrupt practices and policies by lawmakers, violations of our trust, the burden of over taxation, reckless government spending, the political self-serving interest and the increased control and power over the American people has become increasingly more prevalent and rampant.No longer are the interest, objectives and agenda of our elected officials the same as those of the People, regardless of their party, or once they take office. Therefore, as afforded the People under the Constitution, it is our solemn right, duty and obligation as Americans, to reign in our government and lawmakers, to take all necessary actions to restore the fundamental principles of our Constitution and demand strict accountability, common sense and trust in our elected officials and government. We must further limit our government’s size, scope and power by putting in place revisions to our legal system and Constitution to thwart and prohibit further irresponsible actions of government and those we elect to mange it. To restore government to one of the People by the People and for the People.

Should we continue to allow our government and elected officials to go unabated and without restriction or regard for our Constitution and the unalienable rights of the people, the delicate balance of Democracy and Freedom that teeters on the scale between Tyranny and Anarchy will vastly shift to one of Tyrannical Rule by government. A country and its people controlled by a Ruler or Rulers(the New World Order). We have been rapidly heading in this direction for the past thirty years. This is evident in governments support for and from Socialistic Workers Unions, like Andy Stern and the SEIU, or in its creation of Entitlement programs like Welfare, Social Security, Medicare and now a government imposed and run Health Care system. All these Entitlements are deeply rooted in socialistic or communistic principles and ideals. The same methods and programs that were used by Rulers or Kings to maintain control and power over the people of their society and civilization. In recorded history every one of these societies had eventually collapsed under revolt of its people. Why? For the simple reason, this type of system ultimately leads to one of slavery as opposed to every humans desire for self rule and freedom.

We must not allow our government to become any larger or powerful over the American people. In fact we must take back much of the power we have granted. Neither, can we allow our elected officials to further advance their Progressive, elitist ideals that only result in desensitizing and dehumanizing socialistic programs, practices and entitlements. Otherwise, should we choose not to ACT now, history will repeat itself and we will find ourselves having bestowed upon government and lawmakers’ total power and control over our lives, liberties and freedoms, as they lead us into tyrannical rule.

This CANNOT be allowed to occur in America! Not if we believe in the words “land of the free and home of the brave.” We can no longer accept nor afford to allow government to grow any larger nor gain any further power over its people. We MUST put limitations on our elected officials and eradicate the Progressive ideology and individuals in both Democrat and Republican parties who have gradually eroded the very foundation and strengths of our country. We MUST STOP them from causing further damage through creating additional socialistic entitlement programs or economic policies which defy all economic principles, logic and common sense. Programs and policies that through history have been proven not to work or improve but, exacerbate and prolong our weakened economy and dollar. We must ACT and ACT NOW, to reverse these destructive trends and damage to our liberties and freedoms. If for nothing else we owe it to our children and their descendants.

We can no longer accept nor afford a bigger government that operates or condones, unsubstantiated or economically unsound spending, operates without a Balanced Budget, bigger and more expensive entitlement programs, increased government hiring, government investment and control in our nation’s largest corporation’s under the control of labor unions, its open support and expansion of labor unions, tolerate further business or personal income tax increases to fund government boondoggles nor can we allow governments adoption of unrealistic trade and commerce practices, regulations and excessive taxation which has caused the erosion and evaporation of business and industry in America, weakened the dollar and put this country at great peril of insolvency. This is the People's Country NOT the governments and lawmakers!

For these reasons, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservative or Liberal must stand up and unite under ONE Flag and ONE Party. A Party of the People. Together, we will arm ourselves with the Constitution. We will take every action required and available to protect and preserve our Constitution our Country and insure our unalienable RIGHTS to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Property. 

We will start by first radically changing the makeup of our incumbent lawmakers in the upcoming 2010 mid-term and 2012 national elections. We will remove those that are corrupt, those who voted for Healthcare reform or Cap & Trade, Those who support  or champion the expansion of labor unions over individual Right To Work laws, those who broke or failed to live up to their campaign promises, those who refuse to be transparent and without the spin, refuse to tell us exactly where they stand on the issues and those who have declared themselves as Progressives in government.

We will replace these elected officials by electing new qualified candidates that demonstrate they are trustworthy and tell it like it is as to where they stand on the issues without the spin of “political correctness”. And, they must possess a high degree of integrity and common sense. In exchange for our support of their candidacy, we will require, regardless of their party affiliation, they adopt the “PEOPLES PLATFORM” on which they will also run. These individual candidates will be asked to endorse, implement and/or support the following platform of concerns and changes in government within their first term.

  • Will put forth and/or support legislation for a Balanced Budget Amendment.
  • Will immediately address and begin government consolidation and downsizing while cutting spending across the board by no less than 10%
  • Will put forth and/or support legislation replacing the existing IRS Tax Code with either a National sales tax or Flat tax on all individuals and business that must result in a drastic lowering of tax and provide indexed restrictions on future increases in the tax rate.
  • Will put forth and/or support legislation mandating government immediately begin paying down the national debit
  • Will put forth and/or support an Term Limit Amendment. 2 terms for Senate and 6 terms for Congress.
  • Will put forth and/or support legislation requiring the Annual Auditing of the Federal Reserve
  • Will put forth and/or support legislation to repeal Health Care Reform or Cap & Trade Bill proposed or passed before their election
  • Insist and demand that government ceases from any further Stimulus or TARP spending and that repayment of prior advances are only used to pay down our National Debt     
  • Eliminate the practice and use of Omnibus Bills, which contain “Pork Barrel Spending”, legislation or creation of laws unrelated to the primary bills intent and purpose or special concessions in return for a lawmaker’s favorable vote. No more convoluted bills or deals for votes!
  • Insist and demand strict adherence to and interpretation of our Constitution of all legislation proposed by lawmakers before passing

We will further use the peoples Constitutional Right to petition our government for Redress of our grievances and further demand an immediate response to the many requests of Redress previously submitted and that have intentionally been ignored by government.

There are many more actions and changes we need our new legislators to make but implementing these few will set the tone, get us back to fundamental basics and get us moving once again in the direction of economic and financial stability while protecting our Country. We must remain engaged throughout this entire process to achieve our desired goals.

Should all our efforts fail or go unheeded by our government and lawmakers we must then exorcise our last option and Final Right. Abolish Our Government and replace it with new Government and Constitution in which our Founders would be proud.

Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince yesterday afternoon, collapsing buildings and homes, including all existing hospitals in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas. With communications from the area disrupted and practically nonexistent, the situation remains unclear — but with continued aftershocks and eyewitness accounts of "total disaster" and chaos, it is becoming apparent that there is catastrophic damage and widespread casualties.

About three million people were affected by the earthquake. Haitian government officials are estimating death tolls in the tens-of-thousands, and thousands more are living in the ruined streets of the country's capital.

The American Reform Party has established a Haitian Disaster Relief Fund to raise urgently needed funds to be sent to the distressed island nation for food, medical supplies and the families of Haiti. THEY NEED OUR HELP!

 

Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, is plagued by hunger and political instability. This disaster will drastically increase the needs of families who had little to lose in the first place.

Families need your help -- food, shelter and other supplies -- in the aftermath of the worst disaster to strike Haiti or the region in years.

Please give whatever you can today to help Haitian families.

The Fallacy in Splitting The Vote

For years now both the Republican and Democratic Party's have been touting the Independent American voter on the disasters of voting for a 3rd party candidate. Their contention has always been that, in voting for the third party candidate, you would split the vote on one of the their parties candidates resulting in the election of the least desirable candidate of the competing two major parties. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, when you think about it, that's a conceitedly brazen statement in that only their two candidates are qualified and trustworthy to hold office. This is nothing more than a scare tactic, used by both parties on their respective registered supporters and independents, forcing voters into casting their ballot for their parties candidate, instead of the RIGHT candidate for the job. Its our responsibility and obligation to vote for the best possible candidate for the job not for the best party and/or ideology. We must stop the two major parties from using our election process as a sporting event between two opposing teams in which one team must win. Our choices as to who will run our Country and be entrusted to protect our Life, Liberties and Freedoms should  never be narrowed down and determined purely by the outcome of two competing parties and ideologies.  

Lets be honest with ourselves. We have been listening and following this rhetoric for years and where has it gotten us today? A government of corrupt and extremely powerful career party politicians who have adopted an elitist attitude whereby only they know what is best for the people & our Country. This practice has allowed our legislators to obtain so much power and become so brazen that they now pass laws in defiance of the very Constitution they took an oath to uphold. Now, once again, they threaten to pass Healthcare legislation that not only is un-constitutional but in direct opposition to an overwhelming majority of American voters.

Well now is time for us to stop this trend of Party Flip Flop for the sake of change. Every time we've done this it has come back to haunt us. We ultimately seem to wind up with the same old result and problem, a different party in power but with the same old political party hacks and ideology. Where in the Constitution is it written that we must only have a two party system. We need to stop this practice. We need to breakdown the exclusive two party system. We need to find and support new qualified candidates regardless of their party. We must elect our new independent candidates wherever possible to serve alongside the current two parties to bring checks and balance to our executive and legislative process. We are entitled to representation by the individuals, not parties, that we elect to office and who shares our views and ideology. An individual who will vote the will of his constituents not just the ideology and principles of his or her party, who at the moment, happen to be in majority. After all, our original Founders where not men of parties but individual servants of the people they represented and to the government they created.

So in reality, when it comes to splitting the vote, the two party's are only concerned with one thing, not splitting the vote on a particular candidates election but splitting the amount of money, power and control that will be held between the two parties to force their will and ideologies on the American People.  

Now, more than ever before in our country's history, and certainly not since Abraham Lincoln ran on a new a third party ticket to be called the Republican Party, has an Independent candidate had a better chance of winning an election. How is this possible. Simple! Right now Independent voters represent approximately 47% of the votes in the country today. Combine this number with the numerous disgruntled Republicans and Democrats, who have recently declared themselves as independents, this number increases to over 56% of the voters in America. So how do we keep from splitting the vote on one of the two party candidates? Again simple. We stand our ground, vote our convictions not our party and all cast our vote for the Independent candidate wherever possible. Last I checked, 51% of the vote, and in most cases less, usually wins an election.  Now of course we are making the assumption that this candidate meets all of our criteria for a qualified and trustworthy candidate with common sense. Otherwise, we look at the remaining two party candidates, apply our set of principles and criteria to the candidate and again cast our vote.

The most important overriding issue for any of us to consider before voting is not the candidates party but the Individual. Voting the straight party line will only continue to strengthen the legislators power over the people and exacerbate the problem in Washington to the point where the American people may only have one last alternative to protect our inalienable rights and liberties.
