1. Call to Order, In attendance were:

2. Tom Bryer presented the request for affiliation by the state of Maryland.
Ron Barthel made a motion to accept Maryland's request for affiliation, seconded by Al Garyantes. Motion passed.
3. Dick Skinner presented the request for affiliation by the state of Maine.
Roy Downing made a motion to accept Maine's request for affiliation, seconded by Ron Barthel. Motion passed.
4. Randall Kamm presented the request for affiliation by the state of Michigan.
Kathleen Hopkins made a motion to accept Michigan's request for affiliation, seconded by Roy Downing. Motion passed.
5. Marty Flannery presented the request for affiliation by the state of Missouri.
Kathleen Hopkins made a motion to accept Missouri's request for affiliation, seconded by Anne Cooper. Motion passed.
6. David Preefer presented the request for affiliation by the state of Pennsylvania.
Roy Downing made a motion to accept Pennsylvania request for affiliation. Motion passed.
7. The affiliation of Mississippi was considered.
No one being present from Mississippi, Howard Johnson of Florida spoke for them. Howard has spoken by phone several times with chair Stan Crawford. They have contacted the Secretary of State about registering and have elected officers.
Randall Kamm suggested the National Committee postpone consideration of Mississippi pending receipt of a formal request for affiliation.
8. Kathleen Hopkins moved to recess the meeting. Ron Barthel seconded. Motion passed. The meeting was recessed.
~National Committee meeting was resumed on 10-2-99.
1. John Silvis presented the request for affiliation by the state of Minnesota.
Kathleen Hopkins moved to accept the affiliation request of Minnesota, seconded by Richard Skinner. Motion passed.
2. The affiliation of Mississippi was again considered. Howard Johnson presented their letter of request for affiliation.
Kathleen moved to accept Mississippi's request for affiliation, seconded by Roy Downing. Motion passed.
3. Charles Riggs presented the ARP's press release expressing our support of all true reformers - - especially Jesse Ventura.
4. Don Torgersen talked about his call from Sue Debauche, regarding the vote by the Executive Committee of RPUSA to request Jesse Venture's removal from the party.
5. Kathleen Hopkins moved to adjourn meeting. Howard Johnson seconded. Meeting adjourned.
