END OF YEAR LETTER FROM THE CHAIR  - 1999 !!!

As we come to the end of each year, it is always comforting and reassuring to look back on the activities that we have participated in and the things that we have accomplished. 1999 was a very good year for the American Reform Party. Our successful Oct '99 Convention in Washington, DC was the crowning glory for the year. What a performance !!! My hat is off to those members who worked unselfishly to make our Convention such a positive event. We can all be proud that the ARP was able to attract such a distinguished list of guest speakers. As we look back to all of the time and effort that we poured into the preparation of this event, we set the stage for the coming year 2000.

If you missed our San Diego Workshop back in March '99, you missed a great performance by Charles Riggs. At the end of the Workshop, one of our guests at the Workshop asked me if we had hired a professional consultant to make the presentation. Now that's being impressed.

The list of accomplishments continues on to our political newsletter "American Political Reform", published and edited by Don Torgersen with associate editor, Mary Shumaker. The Special Convention Issue published in Oct '99 exceeded all of our expectations. This is an issue that you'll want to keep. But if that's not enough to convince you, log on to our official ARP web site at www.AmericanReform.org and see the new and updated performance capabilities and data entries that Roy & Louise Downing and Denise Richardson have provided for our members and guests. We can't thank them enough.

Our most important asset, of course, are the State Delegates, National Committee members, Executive Committee Officers, members, and ARP supporters who have volunteered their time and talents to make all of this happen. This proves again that if you bring good people together, you can make good things happen.

As the Chairman of your American Reform Party, I would like to thank all of you for your cooperation, your understanding, and the patience that you have shown this past year. Let's continue this great effort. Once again, a very special thanks to all of our members for our many successes. 1999 was a very good year. I see the year 2000 as even better.
